<p>This fully online, self-paced Brazilian Portuguese Semester 1 course introduces students to the fundamentals of the Portuguese language as spoken in Brazil. Students learn essential vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic sentence structures commonly used in everyday communication.</p><p>Through interactive activities and guided practice, students develop skills in greetings, numbers, common expressions, conversational phrases, and introductory grammar concepts. The course emphasizes practical communication skills and cultural awareness while building confidence in language learning.</p><p>By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate using simple Portuguese phrases, understand basic spoken language, and establish a strong foundation for continued study of Brazilian Portuguese.</p><p>This version of the course is designed for independent learning and does not include teacher grading or instructional support.
