<p>This self-paced, online course introduces first-grade students to basic scientific concepts in life, earth, and physical science through engaging, hands-on lessons. Students explore plants and animals, weather and seasons, the five senses, and properties of materials. The course encourages observation, questioning, and discovery as students develop foundational skills in scientific thinking and inquiry. Designed for young learners, it promotes curiosity and a love of science in a flexible, supportive online environment.</p> <p>Parents of neurodivergent learners are supported through a dedicated online platform offering expert guidance and practical resources. Parents gain insights into their child’s unique learning needs, including diagnoses such as autism, dyslexia, intellectual disability, or ADHD, and learn strategies aligned with visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles. The platform provides at-home activities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, supporting experiments, observations, and other academic tasks.</p> <p>Parents also receive respectful, adaptive strategies to nurture their child’s scientific exploration and academic growth. Accessible educational tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), help customize instruction for each learner. Families have access to downloadable resources, a supportive community, and ongoing professional guidance throughout the course.</p> <p>This course includes six months of access to all materials and resources.
