Product description

MS Comprehensive Science 2 Half-Year

Middle School Comprehensive Science 2 is the second in a series of three consecutive middle school science classes. It builds on concepts introduced in the first course of the series, including the disciplines of life science, physical science, and earth-space science. Reflections on Scripture throughout the course demonstrate how to reconcile various theories and laws with biblical doctrine. Students also learn about young-earth and old-earth theories regarding the age of the earth and differentiate various definitions and theories of evolution. The course also emphasizes the idea that mainstream science does not necessarily oppose the Christian worldview. In addition, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts, as well as various biblical and theological perspectives, are integrated throughout the course.

This course can be either the first half or second half of the traditional full-year course. This course contains lab activities. Required lab materials are common household items, and the list is available in the course. Recommended grade level: 7th grade.
