Product description

This workbook follows the Singapore Math approach, using a concrete-pictorial-abstract progression to build mathematical understanding in kindergarten students. Five friendly characters guide learners through exercises that reinforce concepts introduced in the accompanying Dimensions Math KA Textbook, with exercise icons in the textbook linking directly to corresponding workbook practice. The curriculum introduces mathematical topics through exploration and play, making abstract concepts accessible through visual symbols like crayons for coloring activities and pencils for writing exercises.

Activities progress through increasing levels of abstraction, allowing young learners to develop both competence and confidence as they master foundational skills. The perforated pages make it easy to remove and organize completed work, whether using the curriculum in a classroom or homeschool setting. This is Workbook A, designed for the first half of the kindergarten year; Workbook B covers the second semester. The workbook requires the corresponding textbook and does not include an answer key (found in the separate Teacher's Guide).
