Students select their own books to explore diverse genres and topics, then complete open-ended assignments and creative projects to build critical reading, comprehension, and metacognitive skills. Assignments include written responses, discussions, and book-based projects that deepen understanding and encourage analysis. This semester course awards an official transcript credit in the accredited version. Built for independent learning, it is not teacher-graded; parents can review answer keys, grade work, and provide feedback. An optional Mentor Teacher option adds a dedicated instructor for grading and guidance.</p>
