<p>This fully online, self-paced Piano course introduces students in grades 6-12 to the foundational skills of piano performance. Through guided lessons and regular practice, students learn proper hand positioning, note reading, rhythm, and basic piano techniques while developing confidence and musical understanding.</p><p>Students practice scales, exercises, and beginning-level pieces to strengthen finger coordination, dexterity, and musicianship. The course emphasizes proper technique, consistent practice habits, and the development of foundational piano skills.</p><p>By the end of the course, students will be able to perform simple piano pieces and demonstrate a strong understanding of introductory piano concepts and techniques. This course represents Semester 1 of 1.</p><p>Parent Note: Students may benefit from assistance with hand positioning, reading music, and establishing consistent practice routines. Encouragement and supervision can help reinforce proper technique and support student success.</p><p>This is our Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher Support, which includes an official transcript and earned credit.
