This decodable readers flip chart is perfect for phonics instruction or for those teaching using the Science of Reading. This flip chart features books on two different topics: CVCE and R-Controlled Vowels. For each of the topics, there are five different stories, for a total of ten books in this one chart. As students are learning to read, there are words that are decodable, or non-decodable. Non-decodable words in this flip chart are called yet words. These are words that the student does not know yet, whether that is because they have not learned the phoneme, or the word is truly one that is tricky, or that they need to know by heart. The topic and yet words are featured before each story so that students can practice those word lists so that they are more successful while reading the book. You will also receive access to black-line masters of the books so that you can make copies to use with students.
