<p>The Story Starters set contains 134 extra-large (4" x 6") cards designed to get students making and telling stories. These cards are designed to help students improve their writing, storytelling, describing, questioning, inferencing, and thinking skills. The full-color photos cover a wide variety of topics, from sports players celebrating to napping lionesses and children building a snowman– with so much content to choose from, it’s fun for students to choose a prompt they find interesting.</p><p>To play, simply shuffle the cards, have your students choose a photo, and then have them write or tell a story about the scene. This versatile set can be used individually or in groups, and is a great way to enhance language skills at home or in the classroom.
