Wild Words covers the following phonics skills: short vowel sounds, open syllables, digraphs, blends, the FLOSS rule, and plurals.<br> The educator's guide contains complete directions for over 39 activities, nature, neighborhood, general world lists, and even picture book recommendations! The student worksheets can be printed as a nature journal or print sheets as needed, making it practical and flexible for home and school use!<br>The Wild Words Student Workbook contains a worksheet for each Wild Word with a brief description of the nature journaling activity and guided phonics and writing practice. Blank Wild Word sheets are also provided so you can choose a different word to focus on that makes sense for your location or add additional words to your outdoor learning. You can print the entire book and use it as a nature journal or print selected sheets as needed. <br> Wild Words aligns with Wild Reading Level 1 and is a great way to add in additional practice and review skills.
