Hello, I'm Terrence the Tutor! I love tutoring any level of Math and Physics, and helping with SAT/ACT/CLT test prep! I enjoy meeting with students of all ages. I've been a full-time online Math tutor since 2016, and have over 16,000 hours of experience! If you're interested, I have several students/parents that are happy to speak with you on request. (They will likely tell you that I am perpetually excited about Math.) I received a 4.0 GPA and a Math Education degree from the U. of Kentucky in 2009. I graduated in 3.5 years, scored a perfect 800 on the Math portion of the GRE, worked as a Teacher's Assistant (TA) for Calculus I, and received the Kentucky Mathematician of the year award in 2008. (I am the sharpest spoon!) I also passed the 1st Actuary Exam (Probability). My love for teaching/Math is genetic (Mother is retired Elementary teacher, Father is retired Math/Physics teacher, his Mother was a teacher/librarian), but it was accelerated when my loving parents arranged 1:1 advanced tutoring for me starting in 1st grade. Because of my vast experience learning and teaching, I'm very confident I can help anyone quickly gain a much better understanding of their Math material. Also, we may possibly have FUN! Outside of tutoring, I worked in the solar energy industry from 2010-2016.
