Elisa Kaplan is a dynamic Youth Theater and Dance program educator and director, with a BA in Art from the University of MA and continuing education studies in Early Childhood education, Acting, Theater for Young Audiences, and fine arts. Elisa has over 30 years experience in directing youth theater programs and productions and is a proud member of Florida Association of Theater Educators. Starting at a young age, Elisa studied dance at studios across MA and has trained with Mia Michaels, Brenda Buffalino, Rennie Gold, Thelma Goldberg, Jeanette Neill, and Jim Viera, For 17 years, Elisa proudly served as director of the award winning Starette Dance Company competition and recreational teams at DanceTime(Bedford,MA). She has served as a dance instructor, choreographer, and artistic director at Fairytale Dance Academy and Arts With Heart for 13 years. Through Arts With Heart, Elisa currently teaches youth theater, dance, sewing, and creative arts classes and is dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering a deep love for the arts. Elisa is passionate about fostering community and dedicated to providing well rounded education, training, and performance opportunities in an inclusive, welcoming, encouraging environment, and ensuring that the arts are accessible to all.
