I provide academic and professional support activities such as the following for students in grades K-12: 1) reading and math tutoring for students, 2) scholastic assessment preparation, and 3) academic instruction for home educators. I have a PhD in literacy, and a MA and BS in elementary education. I worked in the K-12 setting as a classroom teacher for 12 years before assuming the role of a school administrator. I have now retired after researching, publishing, and teaching literacy courses at the university level for 17 years. I look forward to using my credentials, experience tutoring many K-12 students over the years, and the training of preservice and inservice teachers in the components of Scarborough's Reading Rope and more to support your student.
