Monkman Studios provides engaging, individualized percussion and drum set instruction for students of all ages and levels. Students learn to read music, develop coordination, and explore a wide range of styles—from classical percussion and world rhythms to rock, pop, and jazz drumming. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, whether preparing for school band, advancing toward auditions, or simply enjoying music as a creative outlet. Instruction is provided by Jesse Monkman, a professional percussionist, composer, and educator with over 25 years of performance and teaching experience. His music has been performed worldwide, and his teaching focuses on creating a supportive environment where students can grow confidently and develop strong musical foundations. All lessons are taught online in an interactive format with real-time feedback and personalized guidance, making it easy for students to learn from home while receiving the structure and encouragement of a professional music studio. Monkman Studios regularly works with scholarship families and understands the needs of students learning from home, providing structured guidance and clear progress from lesson to lesson.
