Gemstone Academy provides an entrepreneurship program blended with technology (Computer Science (coding) and soft engineering) to create young innovators. Live instructors with CS skills engage a class of 6 students (max). Students are placed in scenarios where they brainstorm for a solution and then build solutions via technology. They market the product using marketing and business strategies Students use real world tools vs educational software as they progress through the lessons. They build a portfolio of projects they can showcase to colleges or future employers. More importantly, students gain leadership mentality and skills to enable them to find solutions that might otherwise go unnoticed by the unexperienced.
