Hi, I’m Kathryn van Zwieten and I provide Health Coaching to students, with their parent(s)/guardian(s) support. ~Health Coaching since 2011, Mom of 6, Homeschooling for 23 years~ As a health coach, my desire is to assist your student to improve their overall well-being and help foster self-agency to help them achieve specific health-related goals. Our focus areas may include: Inputs: Guiding students in making healthier food choices, understanding needs for a healthy body & healthy mind, and developing healthy plans. Physical Activity: Encouraging regular exercise and setting fitness routines. Mental Health: Addressing stress management, promoting mindfulness practices, and supporting emotional well-being. Lifestyle Changes: Assisting with habits like sleep hygiene, time management, and work-life balance. Health Education: Providing information on topics such as hydration, disease prevention, and the benefits of healthy living. Behavioral Change: Helping students identify and overcome barriers to healthy habits, using motivational interviewing and goal-setting strategies. Intuitive Eating: Helping foster a healthy relationship with food and keeping it in check. Smart Goal Setting: We will develop some small, achievable, targeted goals to work on between sessions.
