Our primary goal is to help students increase their academic achievement. Above all, we want to build confidence in our students and teach them with a personalized educational plan. At Moldow Educational Consulting, we guide students to help develop organizational and study skills, whether learning to read or applying to college, while helping them cultivate self-discipline and self-confidence. Our instructional scholars guide students as they learn important self-advocacy skills and build upon their academic abilities. We create an individual educational plan with each student for general tutoring, standardized test preparation, or college advising (from school selection, essay creation, and application submission.) We prepare students for standardized or achievement tests, as well as assist students as they form a positive personal relationship with school and their learning. Since sessions vary from 1-3 hours per week for a student, we focus on aligning their sessions with the content that students are learning in their classrooms and/or with the deadlines that are approaching for standardized tests or college applications. We recognize the importance of keeping an open line of communication with teachers and parents. We work together as a team and teach an coach with passion at every meeting.
