"Reading with Music" is a method I developed to support students in decoding words and building fluency through the integration of music. This approach leverages the piano, songs, poems, and sonnets to teach letter sounds, syllable segmentation, and vocabulary, fostering fluency and reading comprehension. Incorporating Total Physical Response (TPR) adds movement to enhance comprehension, reinforce vocabulary retention, and strengthen phonics and grammar skills.
