Dear Parents, I serve the following SUFS scholarships: FES-EO, FES-UA, FTC, PEP and New Worlds Scholarship Account. “I also serve Reading Scholarship families — receipts available for reimbursement.” I tutor in reading grades K-5 and in math K-2 I am a retired teacher and a part-time reading and math tutor holding a current Florida teaching certificate for grades K-6. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I am bilingual in English and Spanish as well as ESOL endorsed. I have over 32 years of teaching experience in Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade. I have been tutoring privately since September 2021 and truly enjoy teaching students how to read and improve their reading and math skills. I am extremely patient, caring, and understanding. I also believe in consistency in order to achieve the best results possible. I do not use computers! I teach students the old-fashioned way. I am a strong believer in phonics-based reading.
