At Darby Christian Academy, our mission is to equip homeschool families and students to discern truth, pursue goodness, and delight in beauty through a robust Christian education. We believe in nurturing the whole child and fostering a love for learning that aligns with our Christian values. We exist to resource (not replace) parents as the primary educators of their children. We do this through our unique community school model, which consists of two campus days of classroom instruction and three homeschool days a week, using lesson plans crafted by our teachers and administered by parents. This is a dedicated partnership between the school and the family. This falls under the Step Up / PEP category of Homeschool Instructional Program. We set about our mission and administer our model using a Christian Classical approach. This involves an emphasis on the trivium and the quadrivium, cultivating wonder, reading great books, and developing a Christian worldview.
