I am a C-SLDI (Certified - Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist) through CERI, providing literacy services for PreK-5 students. I am fully certified and trained in Dyslexia with Orton-Gillingham through an IDA (International Dyslexia Association) program. I have over 15 years experience teaching elementary education. Along with a teaching license in elementary education, I am also endorsed to teach Reading K-12 and English for Speakers of Other Languages. https://effectivereading.org/providers/8714/ I believe that all children can learn to read. That is why I follow the Science of Reading research. My classes use very clear and systematic instruction. I see the value in engaging the students in my class with gamified learning. This helps to keep their interest as we learn new and reviewed skills.
