I offer personalized English Language Arts instruction for students in grades 6–12, with support in grammar, literature, composition, beginning logic, rhetoric, and critical thinking. My approach is rooted in the humanities and inspired by classical pedagogy, helping students not only strengthen academic skills but also learn to think clearly, communicate effectively, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them. Whether your student needs targeted tutoring, writing support, literature discussion, grammar instruction, or help becoming a more confident and independent learner, I tailor instruction to meet each student’s needs. I especially enjoy encouraging reluctant learners and helping them discover that reading, writing, and discussion can become meaningful, useful, and even enjoyable. For homeschooling families, I can also design and lead a complete ELA curriculum personally crafted for your student. This may include literature selections, writing assignments, grammar instruction, discussion, logic, rhetoric, and humanities-based projects that align with your family’s goals and your student’s stage of development.
