Offering a welcoming, developmentally appropriate learning P.O.D. (Positive Opportunities for Discovery) in an engaging classroom environment with a comprehensive library and a low student/teacher ratio (6 students maximum). Dawn Rioux, experienced, dual certified teacher and literacy specialist leads the targeted, experiential K-3 offerings, with individualized instruction in READING/WRITING/MATH and HANDWRITING. Warm, inclusive learning community where students also experience SEL (Social/Emotional Learning) to talk through problems and emotions in healthy, productive ways. (Standards based benchmarks/assessments and a brain-based research methodology will be utilized.) Tues/Wed/Thurs classes, 9:00 am -2 pm. *Reading/Writing targeted tutoring services offered as well. Please inquire for available days/times.
