With 25 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop a love of learning, and achieve meaningful academic growth. I provide individualized, part-time tutoring through the Step Up For Students program for children with diverse learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities, gifted learners, and multilingual students. My professional credentials include: * Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education * Master's Degree in Special Education * Master's Degree in Educational Leadership * Florida ESE (Exceptional Student Education) Certification *Endorsements in Reading, Gifted, ESOL I believe every child is capable of success when instruction is tailored to their unique strengths and learning style. My teaching approach is highly individualized and incorporates multisensory learning strategies that engage visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic pathways. These evidence-based techniques help strengthen memory, improve recall, increase engagement, and support long-term understanding of academic concepts. I strive to make learning engaging, meaningful, and successful.
