I provide individualized K–6 tutoring focused on helping students grow in reading, writing, and math. With 15 years of experience as an elementary teacher and preschool director, I specialize in supporting students who may be struggling, below grade level, or in need of additional one-on-one instruction to build confidence and foundational skills. I am Reading Endorsed (K–12) and ESOL Endorsed, which allows me to effectively support students with diverse language backgrounds and those who need targeted reading intervention, phonics support, fluency development, comprehension strategies, and vocabulary growth. My instruction is structured, explicit, and built on proven literacy practices. Tutoring sessions are tailored to each child’s learning style, strengths, and academic needs. I create a positive, encouraging environment that helps students feel comfortable, capable, and excited about learning. I serve students in grades K through 6, including learners with IEPs, learning gaps, English language learners, and students who simply benefit from individualized attention. Areas of support include literacy, phonics, reading comprehension, writing, math foundations, problem-solving, and homework help. Families can choose weekly tutoring sessions or focused intervention based on specific academic goals. My goal is to partner with families to strengthen skills, build confidence, and create positive, meaningful learning experiences that lead to long-term success.
