Knowledge Plus Tutoring provides one-on-one in-person and virtual tutoring to special education students throughout Florida. They use research-based, multi-sensory techniques, including the Orton Gillingham method, to help students in grades prek-12 develop their reading, spelling, writing, math, and executive functioning skills. Knowledge Plus Tutoring has particular expertise in helping students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, all learning disabilities, executive functioning disorders, speech and language challenges, and academic skills difficulties. Students begin with an initial assessment to gauge their academic levels, strengths, and weaknesses. They are then matched with a highly experienced tutor who provides research-based, multi-sensory tutoring that is catered to each student’s unique needs. An individualized instructional plan is put together for every student, addressing their specific academic areas of need and the best evidence-based strategies for them. Tutoring can take place in person at your home throughout Florida or virtually. Knowledge Plus Tutoring is a Step Up approved tutoring provider. Knowledge Plus Tutoring’s executive director, Dr. Emily Levy, holds her Doctorate Degree in Education and her Master’s Degree in Special Education. She has helped thousands of students with specialized learning needs improve their academic skills through one-on-one tutoring.
