I am an experienced educator and tutor with over 25 years of experience supporting elementary-aged students in reading, writing, and mathematics. I specialize in working with diverse learners, including students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, ESOL students, and students who benefit from individualized instructional support. I am a very creative educator who enjoys teaching in a variety of ways to help students understand concepts that may otherwise be difficult to grasp. I use hands-on strategies, visual supports, and differentiated instruction to meet each learner where they are and make learning engaging and accessible. My experience includes tutoring and teaching students with autism and other learning differences, using structured, patient, and strengths-based approaches that support both academic growth and confidence. I focus on building foundational skills while adapting instruction to each student’s unique learning style and developmental needs. I hold a master’s degree in education and have extensive classroom, college-level teaching, and private tutoring experience. My lessons are engaging and designed to promote comprehension, critical thinking, and long-term skill mastery across subject areas. My goal is to help each student succeed academically while feeling supported, understood, and motivated to learn.
