At Sandhill Homeschool Collective, we aim to guide students' academic and social-emotional growth as they become confident, compassionate, creative thinkers. Our learning-focused environment gives them opportunities to deep dive into their interests, broaden their understanding of their parts in the world, and put into practice what they learn with hands-on experiences. We teach them to seek out the stories that are not always told, and to center those who have been marginalized. When students leave us, they will know they are deeply loved, have a sense of their place in this world, and do their part in creating a more just and inclusive society. Sandhill Homeschool Collective is an in-person cooperative that meets once per week to cover a structured science curriculum designed and executed by co-op members, as well as additional optional enrichment activities such as art club, Lego robotics, birding with Audubon Society, etc.
