Lauren Balaban is passionate for students and youth. She has been tutoring for over 15 years, worked in the engineering field for 9 years and has been homeschooling her own kids for 6 years. She provides instruction to various levels of learners and committed to providing students with the math skills they need to know and desire. She tries to instill a love for learning along the way. Lauren received a BA degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2012 and MBA in 2018. She has taught math in grades K-12th including elementary math, pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry and Calculus. Lauren left engineering in 2019 to pursue her children’s homeschooling journey and continues to teach and tutor others. Located in Hillsborough County Travels within a 10 mile radius of Big Bend Rd. Meets at her home, in student's home or agreed public location. Tutoring sessions available M-F 9:00a-6:00p (contact to schedule) Math tutoring for elementary math, algebra, geometry and calculus 1. Most students come to my home in Wimauma. However, I can travel to the students home or meet in a public location for tutoring in the Southshore area of Riverview, Apollo Beach, Ruskin and Wimauma area.
