Hi! I’m Amanda Kissoon—a Florida-certified educator and student success coach with 15+ years of experience helping learners build mastery, confidence, and independence. Certifications: Middle Grades Science (5–9), Social Science (6–12), Chemistry, Biology. I’ve taught in Florida public/charter schools, and I’m a former SAT/ACT/MCAT Prep Instructor, so I know how to turn big goals into clear strategies and measurable growth. I tutor all 4 core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) across PK–12, plus GED prep, AP/IB/AICE, Dual Enrollment, and homeschool support. High school math support includes Algebra/Geometry as needed, Trig, Pre-Calc, and Statistics. I also provide college prep, application timelines, personal statement + supplemental essay coaching, activities/resume support, and FAFSA basics guidance. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and personalized—we don’t just “finish homework.” I identify skill gaps, teach repeatable strategies, and build executive-function systems (organization, planning, study routines). I’m trained in supporting neurodivergent and twice-exceptional learners (gifted, ELL, autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) with high expectations and the right scaffolds.
