Descripción del proveedor
Unplugged Adventures, Inc. is a Florida-based non-profit organization offering inclusive, overnight summer camps at Camp Longleaf in Walton County, Florida. Our mission is to provide a supportive, technology-free camp experience where children of all abilities can connect, grow, and thrive. In Summer 2026, we will host five week-long camp sessions, each tailored to meet the specific needs of its camper population. Our first session, Camp Nova, serves neurodiverse youth with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and/or anxiety. Camp Nova accommodates 36 campers, supported by a dedicated team that includes 6 Counselors, 6 Assistant Counselors, 2 Assistant Directors, Director, and a Registered Nurse on site 24/7. Our 2025 staff included Occupational Therapy students from the University of Florida and certified teachers of exceptional students, ensuring professional care and individualized support. Campers range from ages 10–16, and all reside in Florida. Unplugged Adventures is a technology-free environment, allowing campers to “unplug” from screens and form meaningful friendships through shared outdoor experiences. Activities include a fun-filled day at the E.O Wilson Biophilia Center, art and music activities, s'mores around the campfire, water day, and a talent show. Camp Nova is held June 7th-12th, 2026.
