At Old School art Studio, art is both a skill and a kind of magic. Each class is designed to nurture creativity while building strong foundations—offering space to explore, make mistakes, and grow with confidence. Located in Oviedo, but happy to travel to your home or Homeschool co-op for lessons. Because most classes are intentionally kept small, every student is truly seen, guided, and encouraged along their own creative path. Here's what we offer (private or group classes): Drawing Foundations: Learning line, shape, shading, perspective, and observation using pencil, charcoal, or ink (6 students or less). Watercolor: Exploring color theory, brushwork, and composition across different paint mediums (appropriate for their age). Printmaking: Using tools to make relief prints in linocut or foam board (for older kids ages 8+). Crochet 101: Learn basic crochet stitches, tools, and patterns to create simple, cozy handmade pieces. Creative Art for Kids: Usually in summer-camp style, or homeschool co-op. These classes are filled with color, storytelling, and joyful exploration of histories greatest artists, while still teaching the fundamentals. (Small to large class sizes). Classical Foundations: Rooted in traditional methods, these classes focus on observation, value, proportion, and timeless artistic skills. Small groups preferred (6 or less). Dates and times are listed, but classes are 1 hour between 9am-2pm, Monday-Friday.
