Write from the Heart provides ELA curriculum to 6-12th grade students as well as online classes in composition, literature, and AP English. We believe that teaching writing is about helping students discover who they are and what they want to say to the world. We teach structure and grammar as tools to help them communicate their important ideas more effectively. Our classes are unique in online world, providing human interaction and quality feedback with every lesson. Instead of boring videos and worksheets or a once-a-week zoom where no one talks, we have created a highly interactive classroom that is flexible and tailored to meet each student’s need–it’s like having a private tutor in a classroom setting. We offer monthly workshops, semester classes with weekly deadlines with a dedicated professional giving feedback throughout the class. Our annual classes have due dates throughout the week and include the opportunity for peers to interact with each other as well as with a professional–all without having to be on the computer at a set time. Also, our AP English class only online class in the country that prepares students for both the AP English Literature and AP English Language test in one year. Students can earn up to 12 college credits!
