Florida Explorers Association is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating and providing immersive, hands-on learning opportunities for Students. Based in The Tampa Bay Area of Florida, several programs are offered and designed to benefit homeschool students throughout the state. Our organization seeks to collaborate with professionals in various fields to deliver both in-person and virtual instruction that complements selected curricula. We advocate for a dynamic educational approach that encompasses all facets of learning. Students are provided with books, texts, and resources to engage with, in their homeschooling environment, followed by group education days where they can learn directly from experts in each subject area. To enhance the educational experience, students are given the tools and opportunities to apply what they have read and learned in a practical setting. This culminates in a final living project or a year-long initiative, guided by our carefully selected professionals. Currently, the Florida Explorers Association serves about 50 enrolled students and is a growing organization. Our offerings include an immersive year-long science studies and history studies, mini unit study days, Art Classes, and engaging Book Clubs that often feature writing workshops with published authors.
