ImPowered Minds empowers youth ages 5–17 across Hillsborough County through fishing, mentorship, mental wellness, and life-skills development programs. Using fishing as a gateway to connection and growth, we create safe, hands-on experiences that help young people build confidence, discipline, resilience, and direction for life. What begins on the water evolves into something much deeper: meaningful mentorship, stronger self-awareness, and the development of lifelong skills that prepare youth for success at home, in school, and in their communities. Through positive relationships and real-world learning opportunities, participants gain exposure to entrepreneurship, financial capability, economic empowerment, and trade-based education. Our mission is to help every child develop a stronger understanding of self by fostering self-integrity, self-respect, and self-confidence while equipping them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to thrive personally, academically, and professionally.
