My small business is Sew Fairy Fun and I offer private beginner sewing lessons for children in Seminole County, Florida. My home sewing studio is located in Casselberry, right on the line between Winter Springs and Casselberry, convenient for anyone in the surrounding areas including Winter Park, Oviedo, and Altamonte. Prior to starting my sewing and embroidery business, I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I've now had my small business for five and a half years and I absolutely LOVE being able to combine my two passions, teaching and sewing, to introduce children to the world of sewing. I specialize in teaching students who are brand new to sewing. I provide all materials necessary including the fabric, sewing notions required, and my sewing machine, so all your child needs to bring is excitement! Most commonly, students progress through a series of 3 lessons where they learn how to sew a bookmark, scrunchie, tote bag, and a velcro pouch. From there, each student's sewing journey varies. I am also happy to teach your child how to use a sewing machine of their own. My goal is to introduce as many kids as I can to sewing because the possibilities are truly endless with what they can learn to create once they know the basics!
