Available for individualized tutoring sessions. I prepare curriculum for each student's interests and learning needs. I am trained in the Montessori Method, yoga for learning and several special needs teaching methods. I teach students with many disabilities and learning styles- virtual, in my home office, or in your home. I can utilize an existing IEP or prepare one to create motivating, integrated lessons drawing on my diverse background of 30 years of teaching. My Masters Degree is from Lesley University in Special Education with a Focus on Autism Spectrum and related disabilities. Since achieving that, I have worked in several environments, including private and public schools. Since my Master's, I have been trained in reading and writing for second language learners and many reading difficulties. Therefore, I have taught reading instruction for second language learners alongside students with various learning needs. My goal is to help each student to become his or her greatest learner and to find his or her innate strengths, talents for purpose in life.
