I provide one-on-one online mathematics tutoring for students of varying abilities from 5th grade to high school algebra and geometry. I have taught in Florida public schools for 33 years, teaching all subjects in 5th and 6th grades for 15 years, and strictly middle and high school math for the last 18 years. I have worked in general education classes and with ESE and gifted students. I believe that everyone can get better at math, and that what works for one student may not work for another. I strive to find what works for each individual, with the most important aspect being the concrete understanding of the concept -- the "why" before the "how".
