At Lightfoot Farms, learning comes alive through sun-soaked days, hands-on project-based learning, and discovery-driven adventures across our five-acre regenerative farm. Whether your child joins our unforgettable Summer Camp (ages 6–14), dives deeper through our Christ-centered Homeschool Co-op, or explores new skills in one of our seasonal workshops, or enjoys our family-oriented educational "farm hangs", we welcome you. Here, children care for all of our animals, practice horsemanship, hatch chicks, tend the food forest, grow and prepare food, and build shelters beneath the shade of ancient oaks—cultivating grit, gratitude, and groundedness along the way. Through immersive electives like bushcraft, weaving, and animal husbandry, students learn timeless skills that connect them to creation, community, and the rhythms of the land. FARM TOURS: In addition to our core programs, Lightfoot Farms hosts Educational Farm Tours—affectionately called Farm Hangs—designed for families and small groups to experience the farm together. These interactive gatherings invite participants to slow down, explore, and engage directly with farm life through guided animal care, hands-on demonstrations, nature-based activities, and shared time outdoors. Farm Hangs create space for connection, curiosity, and joy, offering a welcoming entry point into our learning community while allowing children and parents alike to experience the rhythms and responsibilities of regenerative farm living.
