I am a special education teacher with 25 years’ experience. I have worked as a classroom teacher as well as providing professional development for teachers in many school districts in NE Florida. I specialize in working with the medically fragile/physically handicapped but have experience in all areas of special education. I can travel to your home to provide these services. I have extensive experience with assistive technology, communication devices, and eye gaze communication systems. I can train parents/caregivers on how to program and use communication devices and can also program certain devices remotely based on your needs. I can train students and parents on text to speech, speech to text and accessibility options tailored to their specific abilities. I also work with families to set up home automation for those with limited mobility.
