At Vontro Funny Farm, we are proud to offer hands-on educational classes designed to reconnect children and families with homesteading, animal husbandry, gardening, creativity, and sustainable living. Our programs are created for homeschoolers, Step Up For Students participants, and families seeking meaningful, real-world learning experiences. Our classes combine practical life skills with creativity and education in a relaxed, welcoming farm environment. Students have opportunities to learn directly through hands-on experiences, guided lessons, Zoom classes, printable curriculum materials, and optional farm meetups. Programs may include: • Rabbit, poultry, turkey, duck, and small livestock husbandry • Animal care, feeding, housing, health, and preventative wellness • Homesteading and self-sufficiency skills • Organic and regenerative gardening • Seed starting, edible gardening, pollinator gardens, and floral farming • Natural remedies and holistic farming practices • Farm-to-table education and seasonal harvest programs • Art, painting, floral arranging, and nature-inspired creative classes • Beginner business and entrepreneurial skills connected to farming and homesteading Many of our programs are designed to be immersive and interactive, allowing students to follow projects through an entire season while learning responsibility, observation, problem-solving, and stewardship of both animals and the land.
