Art Instruction and Portfolio Mentorship Services I am a professionally trained art educator with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Studio Painting and over 12 years of teaching experience across elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. I provide personalized art instruction for students of all abilities — from beginners exploring foundational skills to advanced and IB Art students developing sophisticated, concept-driven portfolios. My teaching experience spans in-person and hybrid learning environments, allowing me to effectively support a variety of learning styles. I have guided students through rigorous portfolio preparation for competitive college art programs, mentoring them in developing strong technical skills, creative voice, and professional presentation. In addition to classroom instruction, I have served as a judge in art competitions, and many of my students have earned regional and state-level awards for their artistic excellence. Through structured lessons and individualized coaching, I help students: Build strong foundational drawing and painting skills Develop creative thinking and problem-solving abilities Master techniques in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media Prepare competitive portfolios for college and scholarship applications Grow confidence in artistic expression My goal is to nurture both technical skill and creative confidence, helping each student reach their highest artistic potential.
