MYTEK LAB is Fully Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) During this flex paced mini course, learners will step into the creative world of Minecraft-style design as they explore low-poly 3D modeling to create fun and lively characters. Inspired by the familiar blocky aesthetic of Minecraft, this course introduces students to the fundamentals of 3D modeling in a way that’s both accessible and engaging. Learners will work with texturing tools and create UV maps to stylize their characters, then move on to rigging their models for animation—bringing their creations to life with movement and expression. They'll also learn how to export their finished projects for use in websites, games, and other interactive applications. This course is a unique blend of technology and digital art, designed to give students hands-on experience with the skills and tools shaping the future of 3D design and animation. The Minecraft theme makes it extra fun while grounding learning in a style they already know and love. Course format: This course contains 4 recorded lessons with no required assignments, making it ideal for creative learners who want flexibility and freedom to explore at their own pace. While there are no live classes, students will still have access to MYTEK LAB instructors if they have questions, and all recorded lessons will be available through their Student Account.
