This fully online, self-paced course is designed for students in grades K–5 to explore the art of creating animated films frame by frame.</p> <p>In this course, students will learn the basics of stop-motion animation using simple materials such as clay, toys, or drawings. They will discover how to set up scenes, take individual photos, and combine them to create a moving story. Through fun, hands-on projects, students will gain skills in storytelling, photography, and the animation process.</p> <p>By the end of the semester, students will have created their very own stop-motion animation and developed a deeper appreciation for how movies and cartoons come to life.</p> <p>Perfect for: Creative kids who love to tell stories, build things, and explore animation in a fun and interactive way.</p> <p>This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
