Descripción del producto

The Witness Audiobook illustrates the two great questions of Life; 'Who will you Serve?' and 'Who will you Marry?'.

In 1920, renowned Christian author G.L. Hill published her retelling of Paul and the Damascus Road set against the background of the 1900s. Following the adventures and trials of a young seminary student by the name of Paul Courtland, this token Christian is thrown into the flames of an experience that casts a new and life changing perspective on the questions that he faces in the course of this book.

The Witness is a great book for teens who are in that pivotal time of life where they too are starting to ask those same questions of life, faith, and love that will affect the rest of their lives. Packed with people living out these two questions in both Christ honoring fashions and in rebellion, this book calls for us to choose the sometimes painful and yet always necessary route of following Christ in all of Life.

The Witness was considered such a life-changing work that in 1920 famed businessman John Wanamaker, considered one of the originators of the department store, announced that he would send a copy at no charge to absolutely anyone who sent him their address.

G.L. Hill (1865-1947) is one of the most prolific fiction authors of the 20th century. Her great battle was to glorify God in her writing. Her publishers tried to discourage her from using religious references and themes in her works, but the ongoing popularity of her novels finally forced them to relent. You may know her as Grace Livingston Hill.

Narrator Caleb Young is a passionate advocate for reading and history. Having read thousands of titles from hundreds of authors, he works to bring these classic books to life for the modern reader.

Especially beneficial for preteens and teens, suitable for all ages.
