Descripción del producto
NFC Academy’s Homeschool Plus Program for high school is an accredited, college-preparatory option for families who want to take the lead in daily instruction and grading while receiving support from NFC Academy resources. In this program, the parent serves as the primary teacher, completing all grading and guiding the student through their coursework. Each family is also assigned an NFC Academy Resource Teacher who is available throughout the year to answer questions and provide assistance as needed. Because NFC Academy teachers are not the primary graders in Homeschool Plus, courses in this program are not approved by the NCAA, though the curriculum remains fully accredited and aligned with high school academic standards. The program uses the same high-quality curriculum as the Homeschool Advantage Program and follows an asynchronous format, giving families the flexibility to plan schoolwork around their schedule. Academic planning continues to play a key role. The Path to Graduation is developed by the High School Specialist and sent to the home for parent and student approval. Once approved, the student is enrolled in their senior-year courses. The information below represents a sample schedule for twelfth grade. Students complete six courses their senior year to earn the required credits for graduation. Common courses include Christian Faith and Living, Government and Economics, English IV, and either Pre-Calculus or another appropriate math course. Students also take a science or elective—such as Physics—along with a final course selected from French II, Spanish II, or another approved elective that fits their academic goals. Courses may be adjusted when prerequisites are not required, allowing flexibility based on prior credits or individual planning. The Homeschool Plus Program supports families with a fully accredited pathway while allowing parents to guide instruction in a way that best fits their home and academic goals.
