Descripción del producto
NFC Academy’s Homeschool Plus Program for high school is an accredited, college-preparatory option designed for families who want to lead daily instruction and grading while still having support from NFC Academy resources. In this program, the parent serves as the primary teacher, completing all grading and guiding the student through their coursework. Families are also assigned an NFC Academy Resource Teacher, who is available throughout the year to answer questions and provide assistance as needed. Because NFC Academy teachers are not the primary graders in Homeschool Plus, courses in this program are not approved by the NCAA, though the curriculum remains fully accredited and aligned with high school academic standards. Homeschool Plus uses the same high-quality curriculum as the Homeschool Advantage Program and follows an asynchronous format, allowing families to plan schoolwork around their own schedules. Academic planning remains an important priority. The Path to Graduation is developed by the High School Specialist and sent to the home for parent and student approval. Once approved, the student is enrolled in their courses. The information below provides a sample schedule for eleventh grade. Students take six courses each year to stay on track for graduation. Common courses for eleventh grade include Bible Doctrines, American History, English III, Algebra II, and Chemistry or another approved science course. A sixth course is often chosen from options such as French I or II, Spanish I or II, or another elective that supports the student’s academic goals. These suggested courses may be adjusted when no prerequisite is required, allowing flexibility based on prior credits or individual academic planning. The Homeschool Plus Program provides families with a strong accredited pathway through high school while allowing parents to direct instruction in a way that fits their home and academic goals, supported by NFC Academy resources throughout the year.
